We are a local chapter of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time.
As a young professional organization, we emphasize hands-on service work and club socials that fit around the busy lives of our members. We grow our members into true community leaders while serving the Metro Detroit community at large. Interested in learning more about what we do? Check out our calendar for upcoming events.

Come one, come all, and bring your favorite snacks and beverages on board. No pedaling necessary! The tour starts and finishes out of Riverside Marina in Detroit. Tickets will be $40 per person in advance (payment sent to Jaylen), and the city owned marina charges $12 a car to park. Let's #cruisefloatdrink.

Earthworks is a program of Capuchin Soup Kitchen. This organization not only feeds Detroit residents, but also strives to create a food-just Detroit, one in which all people have control over their food. Volunteer work will vary depending on the time of year and will range from mixing soil, flipping compost, cultivating beds, handling seedlings and other general cleanup tasks.
Please make sure that you come prepared to work by wearing the appropriate clothing: comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long pants that you don't mind getting dirty. We also highly recommend that you bring a reusable water bottle, a hat with a brim to keep the sun out of your face and maybe some sun block. We work rain or shine so dressing for the weather is also recommended.
